We open up submissions quarterly. We accept submissions during a two week window.
- For fall 2018, submissions are open August 7-22.
- For winter 2018, November 1-15.
- For spring 2019, February 1-15.
- For summer 2019, May 1-15.
Our Fall 2018 Focus
Submissions for the fall season are open through August 22, 2018.
We are looking for 300-word max articles that benefit our audience (mostly Christian writers of different genres in our region).
We are asking for articles that have 5 actionable points/tips that our readers can put into practice right away.
- Writer Routines/Habits (Ideas: 5 Things to Do before You Sit Down and Write. 5 Tips for Scheduling Your Writing Time. 5 Habits of a Successful Writer.)
- NaNoWriMo (Ideas: 5 Reasons Why You Want to Try NaNoWriMo This Year. 5 Ways to Prepare for NaNoWriMo. Your past NaNoWriMo experience/accomplishment.)
- WCCW Conference (5 Reasons Why I LOVE the WCCW Conference. 5 Reasons Why YOU Should Attend the WCCW Conference. We will be looking for more from you in the winter to help our readers prepare for the conference. Right now, we want REASONS WHY THIS CONFERENCE-type articles.)
Note: The article names are there to spark ideas and show you the kind of articles we are looking for. Feel free to take your own direction on our fall focus points so long as it will benefit our audience.
