WCCW 2020 ONLINE CONFERENCE
Laura helps writers confidently create a polished, professional online presence. She owns Blogging Bistro, a business that builds custom WordPress websites and provides brand, blog, and content development coaching. Laura is the host of The Professional Writer podcast and has authored several books and thousands of articles. She and her husband live in the Seattle area, and are the parents of two young-adult sons. She serves as director of the WCCW Online Conference.
After longing to write for publication, Jon attended Mt. Hermon in 1992 and took Ethel Herr’s Beginner’s Basics. Selling his first pieces – bulletin devotionals – he studied and branched into article writing. Longing to help others birth the writing dream, he founded the Christian Writers Seminar, now West Coast Christian Writers. Many themes from his inspirational articles formed his first book, Lord I Feel So Small. Stories of his flying in Vietnam formed his next book, BOU Pilot. He has now sold or published over five hundred articles.
Susy is the New York Times bestselling author or co-author of 15 books, including over a dozen memoirs (both her own and with other people). She directs West Coast Christian Writers nonprofit, and recently founded “Everything Memoir” to help those writing a memoir or personal story. She lives in the mountains of California and volunteers at a nearby wildlife rehabilitation center.
Grace, an author and international speaker, has written nine books, including Moving from Fear to Freedom: A Woman’s Guide to Peace in Every Situation and Peaceful Moments to Begin Your Day: Devotions for Busy Women. She is a devotional blogger, a member of the First 5 writing team (P31 Ministries) and an annual contributor to Mornings With Jesus, a 365-day Guideposts devotional. She and her husband are career missionaries based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Lindsay is the best-selling author of Adored: 365 Devotions for Young Women and The Story Peddler; an award-winning editor; and a homeschooling mom of three. She would wear pajama pants all the time if it were socially acceptable. She lives in her native San Diego with her scruffy-looking nerf-herder husband, their precious geeklings, three demanding thunder pillows (a.k.a. cats), and a stuffed marsupial named Wombatman.
Rachelle is an agent with Books & Such Literary Management, representing fiction and nonfiction. Having worked in publishing since 1995, Rachelle has been on the inside of two publishing houses in sales, marketing, and editorial. She’s been an agent for 12 years and currently represents an impressive list of 75 bestselling and award-winning authors, in addition to coaching un-agented authors and teaching in her online course, AuthorSchool.com.
Executive editor of Guideposts magazine, Rick has written a slew of books, both fiction and non-fiction, most recently Pray for Me (FaithWorks) and 10 Prayers You Can’t Live Without. He blogs regularly at guideposts.org and is featured in their eLearning course, “How to Tell a Great Story.” His short eBook, Called to Write, shows you how to act on that deep calling.
Bob is an award-winning author, literary agent, and international speaker. His more than fifty books include Don’t Check Your Brains at the Door (co-authored with Josh McDowell) and The Bard and the Bible: A Shakespeare Devotional. Bob is also an agent with The Steve Laube Agency and the executive director of the Christian Writers Institute.
Helen is the associate director of strategic partnerships and initiatives for InterVarsity Press (IVP) and the director of content and resource development for Missio Alliance. She has previously served as an editor and marketer at IVP and acquired, edited, and marketed numerous books, in particular those by authors of color. Helen is an award-winning writer and the author of The Missional Mom. She has contributed to many other devotionals, Bibles, and articles over her more than 20 years in Christian publishing. Helen lives in the Chicago area with her family.
Tosca Lee is the award-winning, New York Times bestselling author of The Line Between, The House of Bathory Duology (The Progeny, Firstborn), Iscariot, The Legend of Sheba, Demon: A Memoir, Havah: The Story of Eve, and the Books of Mortals series with New York Times bestseller Ted Dekker. A notorious night-owl, she loves watching TV, eating bacon, playing video games with her kids, and sending cheesy texts to her husband. Chris, an accountant and author, is the founder and managing partner for Chris Morris CPA LLC, an accounting firm focused on meeting the needs of small business owners. He has worked in accounting and finance for nearly two decades, but over the past five years has been focused on building his firm and serving his clients. Developing niche expertise for creatiPave entrepreneurs and specifically authors, which now represent more than 65% of his clients.
Patricia writes top-rated books that inspire believers to move big mountains. An award-winning, best-selling author and journalist, she writes to encourage people in God’s Word, stirring people to love God and love each other. A regular contributor to Our Daily Bread and DaySpring (in)courage ministries, she’s a supporter of Bible-translation projects worldwide and lives with her retired educator husband, Dan, in their beloved home state of Colorado.
Marci is a creative storyteller whose writing career began after her humorous account of a cookie-baking fiasco appeared in a small-town newspaper. Since then, she has authored two books and written hundreds of articles, as well as contributing to Guideposts and Focus on the Family. She is wife to John, is mom to six kids, and grandma to five of the cutest grandkids this side of the Mississippi.
Ginny L. Yttrup
Ginny is a novelist, speaker, and writing coach. She is the author of the Christy award-winning novel, Words, and six other contemporary women’s fiction titles. Ginny is passionate about encouraging other writers through coaching, developmental edits, and teaching. She is the adoring mom of two adult sons, Justin and Jared, and mom-in-law to the lovely Stephanie.
